The House of Commons

by

Dear Commoners,

The House of Commons (Parliament) is a great name for those elected and occupied in it to make legislations that govern the country. But I find it difficult to understand why commoners cannot get access to the commons without being harassed and subjected to severe security checks. Trespass has become the norm and ties in with enclosure practices and thus looses the meaning of the house of the commons. I suggest we review the name of the commons or else the occupiers do not represent the purpose of the parliament.

Perhaps these remarks also relate to the Court of Common Council, the foremost institution of the City of London?
