Kenya: a shining example of grassroots development

Check this video.

When locals are given the power to improve and better their lives nothing can actually stop them.  On a positive instead of governments giving land to the foreign investors the Kenyans have proved that they can do what the foreign investors would have done.  Jobs for the local people have been created and money earned is given to the locals and remains in the country.

this is quite interesting. this should be what all developing countries need to do, instead of bringing in foreign investors all in the name of globalization. Don’t get me wrong, globalization is good. but if a country can produce the same things that the foreign investors are doing, then the locals should be given a chance to do so.

A good example of real community development. More of this is needed in developing countries.
